To better understand how leaders are navigating AI’s role in the complexities of the global business landscape, G-P partnered with a third-party research firm to survey more than 1,500 business executives from around the world. 

AI at Work: Unlocking Global Opportunities provides a comprehensive view of how and where AI will have the biggest impact on global business growth and employment, revealing: 

  • Global business leaders are feeling the pressure to adopt AI. 
    84 per cent report that their organisation is planning to invest more in AI over the next 12 months.

  • New roles may need to be created as part of AI investment. 
    Less than 2 per cent of executives believe their organisation has the right people to successfully implement and monitor AI.

  • Execs are worried about having the right AI plans in place. 
    65 per cent believe AI is critical for operating and being competitive across global markets, but 97 per cent of leaders express concerns related to their AI plans or goals.

  • Without the right people, processes, and tech, AI is difficult to implement.
    99 per cent of executives admit to missteps or missed opportunities in their AI journey.
